Wayne Smith, grew up surrounded by the tantalising aromas of cooking, learning the art of flavour from his late mother, Liz.
It was in her kitchen and back garden that Wayne’s passion for food was first ignited. A passion that has become the heart of Daddy Bear Grills.
He picked up the love of cooking over fire through many years camping and burning his way through lots of gas BBQ’s! And is where he found his passion for using live fire and coals.
This passion saw Wayne become a finalist in the 2024 British Live Fire Cooking Championships where he competed on stage in the iconic Ludlow Castle.
He launched his own immersive Live Fire Cooking Woodland Experiences at in Kent. With bold flavours, primal fire, and a love of sharing food that brings people together, Wayne is on a mission to make every flame unforgettable.
He also travels the country bringing the heat to live fire stages. Expect sparks, smoke, big flavours, and plenty of banter. This is BBQ entertainment that lights up every crowd.
