Where:

Castle Garden Stage - Castle Gardens

When:

Ross Underwood will be in conversation with Adam Alexander: The Seed Detective

Ross started his horticultural career under John Ravenscroft at Bridgemere Nursery. Following on from various roles in retail and production horticulture, he moved on to David Austin Roses – then on to Hodnet Hall Gardens where he stayed for 15 years, rising to the position of Head Gardener.

A period as Head Gardener at Goldstone Hall Hotel and Gardens took him to his current role as Head Gardener at The Dorothy Clive Gardens. Alongside this, he has served as a Trustee for the Willoughbridge Garden Trust for five years – and is also a Trustee for Hodnet 2000 (a local educational charity) as well as serving as a local Parish Councillor. Ross is married with two children and in his spare time is also an on-call firefighter for Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service.
