Guided Foraging Walk with Liz Knight

Where:

Around Town - Ludlow

When:

I'm Liz Knight. I teach and write about the incredible edible plants growing all around us.

From wild plants and familiar “weeds” to surprising everyday species, I’ve spent the last 15 years helping people see the landscape around them in a whole new... and delicious... way.

Join me during the Ludlow Food Festival for a 60–90 minute guided foraging walk around Ludlow, where we’ll discover just how much edible nature is hiding in plain sight.

Together, we’ll explore some of the wild plants growing in and around this beautiful historic town, learning what to look for, how to identify it and, most importantly, how it can be used in the kitchen.

Whether you’re a complete beginner, a keen cook, a gardener or simply curious about the food growing beneath our feet, this relaxed walk will give you the confidence and inspiration to start looking at the plants around you differently.

You’ll leave with a greater understanding of what’s edible, what to avoid and how to forage responsibly, as well as plenty of ideas for turning your wild finds into something delicious.
