These offer hands-on demonstrations and Q&A opportunities to enhance food photography skills.

Each workshop is designed to cater to a different aspect of food photography, from bloggers and food producers to social media enthusiasts and those interested in styling.

Food Photography Without the Fancy Equipment

Create beautiful images using natural light and simple tools

Professional images don't require an expensive studio. Learn how to recognise good light, work

with shadows, build inexpensive reflectors and backgrounds, and create polished photographs

using equipment you probably already own.

Ideal for: producers creating content for websites, social media and newsletters.

DANIELLE ACKEN is an award winning food photographer and writer with a photo style born in the late punk era and honed over two decades behind the lens and pen.
She currently splits her time between Vancouver BC, London UK, and her farm studio on Canada's beautiful Salt Spring Island.

AURELIA LOUVET is an award winning food stylist and cookbook author currently based in Spain.
Having lived and eaten around the world, Aurelia is known for her evocative style that combines modern North American sensibility and classic European beauty.
