These workshops will provide an exciting experience for festival attendees, equipping them with skills they can immediately apply. We believe they will be a fantastic addition to the Ludlow Food Festival’s programme and look forward to the opportunity to collaborate. These one-hour sessions, led by award-winning food photographer Danielle Acken, will offer attendees hands-on demonstrations and Q&A opportunities to enhance their food photography skills.
DANIELLE ACKEN is an award winning food photographer and writer with a photo style born in the late punk era and honed over two decades behind the lens and pen. She currently splits her time between Vancouver BC, London UK, and her farm studio on Canada's beautiful Salt Spring Island.
Aurelia Louvet is an award winning food stylist and cookbook author currently based in Spain. Having lived and eaten around the world, Aurelia is known for her evocative style that combines modern North American sensibility and classic European beauty.

Swipe-worthy in seconds—unlock the secrets to capturing bold, beautiful food photos that light up your socials, from Instagram to TikTok. Social media is all about eye-catching content. This session focuses on quick, effective techniques for capturing stunning food shots that stand out on Instagram, TikTok, and other platforms, using both cameras and smartphones.
