We are delighted to introduce new for 2024, our Cheese and Wine Workshops. Join us for an immersive experience that celebrates the rich culinary heritage of the region, combining the finest cheeses and exquisite wines in perfect harmony all produced by our wonderful exhibitors onsite at the Festival.

Our workshops are designed to be both educational and enjoyable, offering participants a unique opportunity to explore the world of cheese and wine pairing. Led by the Cheese Expert and author Emma Young, each session will guide you through the nuances of selecting the perfect wine to complement a variety of cheese aspects of which features in Emma’s book, “The Cheese Wheel”.

Emma Young is a Cheese Consultant & Author also known as "The Cheese Explorer". Her first book "The Cheese Wheel" is a guide to the flavours found in cheeses and the best drinks to pair with them. Emma has 15 years of experience in all aspects of the cheese industry, as well as being an international cheese judge and a teacher in both France and the UK.

Expert Guidance: Learn from the best as Emma shares her knowledge and passion for cheese and wine.
Tasting Sessions: Indulge in a curated selection of premium cheeses and wines, each chosen to highlight the unique flavours and characteristics of the pairings, all produced by our onsite exhibitors.
Interactive Experience: Engage with the host, ask questions, and gain insights into the production processes and history behind each cheese and wine.
Take-Home Tips: Leave with practical tips and recommendations to impress your guests at your next dinner party.

Tickets

Tickets for the Cheese and Wine Workshops are limited, so be sure to book early to secure your spot. Each ticket includes entry to the workshop and all tasting materials. A ticket to enter Ludlow Food Festival will need to be purchased alongside this to gain access to the Festival and workshop.
