The Sausage Trail will be different this year – instead of a trail, we’d like to introduce you to the: Battle of the Bangers!
Butchers from the 'Marches' are going head to head, but only one will be crowned the Champion…
Taking place on SATURDAY 14TH SEPTEMBER at the LUDLOW BREWERY
Battle of the Bangers is a tasting of 4 sausages, all hand-made by butchers from the 'Marches':

- Wenlock Edge Farm
- Morgans Country Butchers
- Ludlow Farm Shop
But...who will be the winner? Vote for your favourite and let battle commence!
Not taken part before...? Then Here's How It Works!
- The Battle of the Bangers takes place between 10am and 2pm on Saturday 14th September at the Ludlow Brewery.
- Tickets are £5 each and are only available to purchase online - these will be allocated in half an hour time slots, from 10am in order to try and avoid long queues and delay in being able to serve you!
- Collect your Battle of the Bangers tickets/voting forms with full instructions at the Ludlow Brewery, SY8 2PQ.
(NB this will be done manually in time slots and by surname, so please bear with our volunteers who will process this for you!)
These will not be available to collect in advance of the day of the event. - Choose your favourite sausage...award your points for each one.
- Leave your voting form with our volunteers at the Ludlow Brewery.
The sausage with the most points wins the 'People's Choice' Award, with an 'Experts' Choice' Award to be judged by a special panel on Saturday. The awards will be presented in the Castle from 4pm on Sunday.
Tickets are £5 Numbers are limited...so don't delay in getting yours!
