Jen Goss:
Jen Goss lives on a smallholding in west Wales with her family, following a lifelong dream to live by the sea and work the land. The produce of Jen’s land and surrounding hedgerows provides ample supplies for Our Two Acres – the catering company she set up after a career in the hospitality industry in London. In 2016, she co-authored Do Preserve with Anja Dunk and Mimi Beaven and then in 2024 Do Smoke with Scott Davies. Jen is currently working on projects teaching children, communities and many more how to cook and helping set up a charity - Cegin Y Bobl.
Cegin y Bobl:
Cegin y Bobl is a non-profit organisation based in Carmarthenshire, established to build on the legacy of the successful Cook24 programme.
There are strong links between food, health and mental health, and what we eat affects so many aspects of our lives and our society. At Cegin y Bobl, we believe in the transformative power of food to unite people, strengthen communities, and empower individuals. Our mission is to create lasting change through food-centered programmes, offering opportunities for people of all ages to develop essential skills, create healthy food, and build connections.
We run immersive food education, literacy and leadership workshops for individuals and groups through practical training led by chefs from the hospitality industry; cookery courses for children in schools and adults, food bank cook-along community meals, fundraising initiatives, and much more
