On Friday 12th September, the Inner Bailey of Ludlow Castle will come alive with fire, flavour, and festivity!
As the sun sets, the historic castle walls will witness the sizzle and smoke of the first round of the British Live Fire Cooking Championships in association with Kadai. Watch chefs compete in a fiery battle, showcasing their skills over open flames.
Adding to the evening’s magic, Kadai’s fire pits will be blazing throughout the Inner Bailey, casting a warm glow and creating an unforgettable atmosphere. Whether you're a food lover, a fire enthusiast, or just looking for a unique way to spend your evening, this is an event you won't want to miss.
Enjoy a variety of street food, whilst talented musicians create the soundtrack to your evening, and DJs keep the energy high, spinning tunes that will get everyone moving. The Shropshire Lad’s Rum Shack and Bar will be open, serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks throughout the evening.
Daytime events for the Food Festival close down at 5pm and the castle clears in preperation for reopening for this event at 6.30pm.

A variety of food and drink is provided by fantastic local vendors at an extra charge.

Please note the Inner Bailey ONLY will be open, the rest of the festival closes at 17:00. There will not be any exhibitors open. But if you miss out on exploring our fabulous exhibitors on Friday, don’t worry they will be open again from 10:00 on Saturday 14th September.
