Where: Kids Zone - Inner Bailey

Explore the Inner Bailey area of Ludlow Castle over the Festival weekend, and you'll find the Kids Zone - where activities are completely FREE!

All our Kids Activities are completely FREE - no need to book, just turn up on the day for these fun hands-on sessions from:

  • Outside The Box: hands-on cookery sessions creating something simple, tasty and delicious! Friday is for pre-booked school groups, then Saturday and Sunday at 11am, 12.30pm, 1.45pm and 3pm. Find out more, here:  Kids Cookery
  • The Den Kit Company: FREE flag painting activity, especially for kids! Come and join in the fun - all equipment and everything you need will be provided. There will be 2 drop-in sessions a day. Find out more, here:  Flag Painting
  • Catch the Children's Snail Trail throughout the Festival.  Just visit the Slow Food stand in the Castle Gardens to pick up a quiz sheet.  Follow the snail trail to find the answers and all children returning their completed sheet to the Slow Food stand will receive a special goody bag.  It's free and is a great way for youngsters to explore the Festival!

There's no need to pre-book for any of the fun; these activities are sure to keep the little ones busy and entertained!

Inside Ludlow Castle with more than 180 local food and drink producers and suppliers: real food, ale, cider, perry, wine and more from the Marches, with samples and tastings.
