This award winning Baker has a real affiliation with the Festival, having been a member of the Chamber of Commerce when it was launched in 1995, and joined the Festival committee the following year.

During his time in Ludlow, he was chosen as a Local Food Hero by Rick Stein, ran a baking workshop with Will Holland at Michelin Starred La Becasse. Baked at the Intercontinental Hotel in Mayfair as part of Ludlow comes to London, and became a huge part of the food and drink community.

He has won many awards for his loaves; Waitrose Small Food Producer, Baking Industry Best Speciality Bread, World Bread Awards and twice Herefordshire Food Producer of the year.

Peter moved to Herefordshire and opened Peter Cooks Bread in 2014, built on a passion for Real Bread and a has mission to share it, running courses from the Bakery, catering from beginners to those more experienced in the wonders of bread making.

Held in Ludlow Castle, more than 200 real ales, 150 classic vehicles and live music all weekend. That’s not forgetting over 60 food and drink producers to discover!
