Head over the drawbridge, to the Inner Bailey of Ludlow Castle over the Festival weekend, and you'll find the Kids Activities area - where ALL the activities are completely FREE!

You'll find hands-on activities with Grow Cook Learn and the Shropshire Hills Discovery Centre, kids cooking with Outside The Box, a Fast 5 entertainment show and a Taste Adventure with Slow Food.

All our Kids Activities are completely FREE - no need to book, just turn up on the day for these fun hands-on sessions from:

  • Grow Cook Learn: link food, history and habitats with knowledgable helpers
  • Outside The Box: hands-on cookery sessions creating something simple, tasty and delicious! Friday is for pre-booked school groups, then Saturday and Sunday at 11am, 12.30pm, 1.45pm and 3pm
  • Fast 5 Show - a fast-paced kids entertainment show
  • Taste Adventure - get all your senses involved with Slow Food

There's no need to pre-book for any of the fun - just turn up on the day; these activities are sure to keep the little ones busy and entertained!

Please Note: Kids Cookery and the Fast 5 Show are timed events, the remainder are all on a "drop-in" basis. Please visit the What's On pages below for more information.
