Emily is Director and Chef of St Tudy Inn, situated in the beautiful Cornish village of St.Tudy, Bodmin where she creates an ever-evolving menu that combines her passion for beautiful, seasonal food with the best Cornish produce available in this wonderful village location.
Trained in France, it is her knowledge of the classic techniques that form the backbone to her skills. Originally from Sussex, in 2000 she moved to Cornwall where she successfully ran the Harbour Restaurant in Port Isaac for more than 6 years.
Named 'Best Chef South West' by Food Magazine and nominated as a Local Food Hero, Emily took over St Tudy Inn in 2014 and within twelve months was shortlisted for two awards, including 'One to Watch' voted by industry experts.
In 2017, Emily and her team were awarded a Michelin Bib Gourmand which they have now retained for the third year in the Michelin Guide 2019 - a wonderful recognition.
Named as one of the most influential women in hospitality by CODE a leading industry publication earlier this year. Emily recently appeared on the BBC's Great British Menu and won the 'Highest Climber Award' in The Top 50 Gastro Pub Awards where St Tudy is now at number 24.
Emily believes her success is down to supporting fishmongers, greengrocers, butchers and farmers markets and loves nothing more than delighting others through food, including her three children who constantly amaze and inspire her.
